Greg said he once had a 300 pounder on his line that almost spooled him. Thank goodness there was an angler on his boat near by and let Greg get on board and the boat ended following the sturgeon up stream a few miles while Greg landed him. After landing that beast he said. “I am whooped!” Greg was done for the day after fighting to keep him on the line.

Texas Land Cut

I had the pleasure of going to the Land Cut with a few of my friends from church and we had a great time! The video provided shows a few of our catches of black drum in this area of the Texas Coastal Bend.

    I didn’t realize they get up to 300+ lbs. That’s crazy. I’d be taking the day off too.
