A Rooster of a Fish Tale

Pat Townsend shares a great story of a Rooster Fish she caught while fishing with her husband in Mexico. I had never heard of a Rooster fish so I had to look it up. It took both her and her husband to bring this one in after a long fight and 2 fishing poles. She said it was as tall as herself. We appreciate her sharing this story in our podcast. Here is what the Rooster Fish looks like:

We hope that you have enjoyed this podcast and encourage you to leave us a comment or feedback you may have.

Puerto Rico Tarpon Fishing

Tarpon fishing in Puerto Rico was quite an adventure with Captain Jeff. We caught one Tarpon that looked like about 20 lbs but were unable to pull him in the boat. As he got next to the boat he was able to flip his sharp gills around the leader and cut through. This is an in-shore fishing area where you’ll see Tarpon rolling their sides above the water everywhere.
